We currently host a special monthly one-day retreat program conducted entirely in Sinhala. This day is a valuable opportunity for the Sinhala-speaking community to immerse themselves in practice and community.

Attendees Adults and Children are welcome to attend.
Activities The day includes observing the Eight Precepts (Atasil), guided meditation, Dhamma talks, traditional chanting, and Vandana (honoring the Buddha).

You do not need to bring anything. We provide seating and cushions. If you have a favourite cushion, mat, or shawl you are welcome to bring it.

Please wear clean and covered clothing that is comfortable and modest. It is best to avoid shorts or sleeveless tops.

To maintain a peaceful environment, we ask that you follow these simple guidelines: Do not wear shoes inside the meditation hall. Do not bring, consume, or smoke alcohol or tobacco on the premises. Do not talk loudly while people are meditating.
